Novoplastik has three main processes: we produce complex parts from rigid polyurethane, we produce parts of thermoplastic materials, and we also do simple or complex finishing and pre-assembling for the produced parts.
We are very experienced in working as a subcontractor (please see info about our company), and we are used to working with low volume and/or low MOQ (minimum order quantity) projects. Don’t hesitate to ask for a quotation for your project!
Polyurethane (PUR) has good noise absorbing and thermal insulation qualities. Numerous surface material options: for example, foil, textile, leather. PUR parts can also be finished without surface material.
Backside of part can be shaped to create functionalities, such as air channels or other spaces, fastening points etc.
PUR parts can be used as semi-structural elements due to PUR’s rigidity and strength. Our PUR structures have very good fire safety qualities (ISO 3795/FMVSS302, R118).
Our PUR with PVC surface has been tested in marine conditions (UV, heat, salt mist). Trim panels for boats.
PUR process allows a wide range of part sizes and different thicknesses within one part.

Thermal insulation, noise absorbtion and fire safety qualities can be adjusted by defining the exact structure. Separate, felt-type or foil-type surface materials can be used to achieve an even-coloured or “closed” A surface.
Novoplastik has a long experience in working with natural fibre composites: our own Novofrux® material was produced as early as in 2009.
The composite is lightweight and rigid; fixings, etc. can be attached with for example PTZ screws.

A pre-assembled product benefits our customer in their final product’s assembly by minimizing the handling work of the panel and thus saving time, space and for example by reducing the possibility of causing defects on the panel.
We are also very experienced in packaging design and strive to offer our customers packaging solutions that protect the parts, suit well in our customers’ production flows, and are also as eco-friendly as possible.
Novoplastik has a long experience of both pre-assemblies and packaging design, including both the actual assembling or packaging work, and also managing the material flows of components and materials with low cost and without disturbances.
Novoplastik can offer these services very cost-effectively keeping in mind that pre-assembling of products at an early stage will typically reduce costs throughout the supply chain – and taking care of proper packaging is important not only to minimize costs, but to minimize the carbon footprint of parts.

Our lengthy experience provides a solid backing for prototype products with a finished and realistic outlook, which are ready to be presented even to the final customer.
Our prototypes have a wide variety of options in terms of body material, and surface materials or treatments.
For some processes, prototype tooling is needed.
Prototyping can be started based on customer’s own 3D-model, or, if necessary, Novoplastik can offer 3D modelling service.
The outcome will be a product with requested, finished surface, with necessary attachment and reference points.
Novoplastik offers cost-effective tools with high dimensional accuracy, designed based typically on customer’s 3D model of the part to be produced.
All tooling is produced in Finland, which allows short lead time for tools, and the possibility to make tool changes quickly and effectively.
3D modelling service can also be provided, if needed.
